Normalerweise vermeide ich geführte Touren und versuche die Schönheiten selber zu entdecken! Diese Tour hat sich jedoch absolut gelohnt und ich kann sie nur empfehlen! Der Aufstieg mit den 708 Stufen war anstrengend, aber dafür wird man mit einer herrlichen Aussicht entlohnt! Die Stadt Guatapé ist sehr touristisch, aber so farbenfroh und schön, dass ich auch hiervon begeistert war. Die Bootsfahrt war eine entspannte Möglichkeit, die Landschaft zu genießen. Das im Preis enthaltene Frühstück und Mittagessen war lecker und die Organisation sehr gut. Es ging zügig und man musste nicht lange warten! Marlon, unser Guide, hat die Tour zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis geführt! Er war witzig und hat eine angenehme Art einem die Informat zu geben! Ein perfekter Tag und absolut zu empfehlen!

Experiencia fantástica: We booked a day trip to Guatape and the tour was beyond our expectations. It was very well organized, comfortable, and everything ran on time. The tour price is very reasonable and covers breakfast, lunch, transportation, full day guide, and boat ride. Tickets to climb top of Guatape rock was not included and need to be purchased when one reaches the place. We had plenty of time to explore the places - Guatape rock, city of Guatape - and also enjoy a quiet and relaxed breakfast / lunch. We covered everything as detailed in the itinerary. We left from El Poblado around 7:15am and came back around 5;45pm. It takes about ~2 hrs to get Guatape rock from El Poblado, including stop for breakfast. Our guide, Alex, was very energetic, friendly, and informative. He shared a lot about the history of the three cities that we visited and also shared insider tips when exploring the town. He was also open to answering any to all questions from travelers who wanted to learn more about a place. Definitely book tours with this team. They are A+ and made our experience wonderful

The bus ride was mostly comfortable, the toilet was out of order and there was one pesky passenger that reclined her seat to my detriment. The temperature on the bus was comfortable. Breakfast was mostly tasty and worth the money. The spot was clean and open air. Piedra del Peñol was amazing. I am proud of myself being able to get to the top and down. The views are amazing. The provided lunch was also delicious and well received. The boat tour was also a great addition to the trip but I must say I was a bit tired at this point. Guatapé is beautiful and picturesque. I highly recommend this tour to anyone thinking about it.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing Guatapé Tour with Marlon Palacio! We recently booked a 10.5-hour tour of Guatapé through *Get Your Guide*, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Colombia. Our tour guide, Marlon Palacio, was hands down one of the best guides we've ever had! From the moment we met him, he was warm and welcoming, and throughout the entire day, he kept us entertained with his fun, silly personality, all while sharing the perfect amount of historical insight about Guatapé. The tour itself was incredible. The journey from Medellín to Guatapé took about 1.5 hours, but the scenic drive made it worth every minute. We started the day with a nice breakfast before arriving at La Piedra del Peñol, the famous rock in Guatapé. We opted to pay the extra 25,000 pesos to climb the rock, and it was absolutely worth it—the views from the top were breathtaking! Afterward, we headed to the colorful town of Guatapé, where we had time to explore, enjoy fresh smoothies and delicious cinnamon rolls, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere. We capped it all off with a relaxing lunch that offered stunning views of the landscape, followed by a boat tour that took us past Pablo Escobar’s estate. The drive back to Medellín was about 2 hours, but honestly, it felt like no time at all given how much we enjoyed the experience, and because we were able to rest on the ride. Overall, it was an incredible experience, and we highly recommend everyone coming to Medellin to take advantage of it!

The day was extremely well organized, on time at all intervals, we had 2 tasty meals made by locals, and had ample time for all the activities. It was a stress free way to get a sampling of experiences. Ginna seamlessly moved between English and Spanish, offered many choices for how folks could tour independently or stick with her for more information in locations, and was clear ajd direct in her communications. Only negative remark I need to mention is the poor quality of the place the tour is using for breakfast and lunch (it’s the same place) and it has been the worse one I had in my 2wks trip in Colombia so maybe a small tip for improvement ☺️

Experiencia fantástica: Wij hebben met ons gezin van vier (met twee kinderen van 12 en 13 jaar) de tour naar Guatapé gedaan en zijn erg te spreken over de kwaliteit van de tour. Het was ons geld meer dan waard, ontbijt en lunch waren meer dan prima, we hadden voldoende tijd bij de stops en de begeleiding was erg betrokken en gezellig. We hadden Ginna als begeleidster, ze spreekt erg goed Engels, geeft duidelijke achtergrond informatie en heeft er alles aan gedaan ons een fijne dag te geven. Regelmatig dat ze een grapje maakte om je een Happy tijd te geven. Je zit even in de bus, maar wij waren blij met onze chauffeur Sebastian aangezien hij alles onder controle had. Vergeet niet dat het erg toeristisch is, dus vrij druk, met eigen vervoer kun je alles ook zien, maar dan zit je nog steeds tussen dezelfde massa toeristen. Met de tour is het reizen een stuk relaxter, je gaat nog met een boottocht over het stuwmeer en bezoekt het replica dorp van El Peñol. Ginna bedankt voor de gezellige dag, veel geluk!

Also the food (breakfast and lunch) was delicious and filling. We had enough time everywhere, not just a quick stop but we had enough free time to discover the place by ourselves. So it is also a five star for the time management. We could even take our luggage with ourselves because we had a night bus after the tour. To sum it up, absolutely recommended, do not hesitate to book a tour with this company!

Experiencia fantástica: We booked Guatape, Piedre del peñol, and Boat tour through Get Your Guide, and the tour was serviced by Viaja Medellin. A few days before the tour, a representative from Viaja Medellin contacted me asking for passport details for accident insurance. The day before the tour the same representative sent me a message via WhatsApp (definitely download this app for your trip to Colombia) with details on exactly when and where to meet for pickup. After picking up everyone, we had breakfast at a town 30 minutes away from the city. Breakfast was eggs, bread, cheese, arepa, and coffee/hotchocolate. After breakfast we stopped 30 minutes at another small touristy town to take pictures and buy souvenirs (supposedly cheaper than buying at Guatape, but I didnt but any during the while trip so I cant verify). From that town we got in the boat. Very informative boat ride where Alex pointed out property that belonged to Pablo escobar and some famous soccer players. Once we got to Guatape we had ~1.5 hr to take the steps to the top (optional). Be sure to bring cash for this, and any snacks/drinks you may want. View is fantastic. Took me maybe 15-20 minutes to get to the top and I’m not athlete. On the way back (after lunch at a cafe in Guatape) we stopped at Peñol. Beautiful city. Very colorfol. After walking around for a bit, I grabbed ice cream and we sat by the lake and relaxed. Overall, great trip and a fantastic was to see this beautiful country!

Para el tour de Guatapé, te buscan en el hotel en la mayana i te devuelven en el hotel despues del tour. El bus es cómodo i luhoso i la información durante el tour es muy educativo. Experiencia fantástica: I’m a tour guide in Havana and I’m always hesitant to book a tour when traveling because they’re not always all that great. They’re kind of so so and cheesy. This tour was not one of those. Our tour guide Jessica is fluent in English and Spanish. She was friendly, personable, informative and kept us up to date on facts and our itinerary without making us feel like we were on a schedule. This tour was well worth the $45/person we paid. Breakfast and lunch are included which were both great. The bus had AC and was very comfy. The drive was very scenic. Overall, I’d give this tour 10/10 stars. It’s a very nice full day tour with lots to do and see.

Experiencia positiva: Viajamos a inicios se julio y tomamos el tour de Guatapé y El Peñol, motivados por las buenas referencias que leímos en internet de esta Agencia. Desde un inicio el trato fue muy bueno pues respondían amablemente los correos y chat. El abono lo hicimos a través de Western Union y todo salió muy bien. Se cumplió con todo lo descrito en el tour, el Sr. Sergio y el guia que nos asigno, el Sr. Carlos fueron muy amables y atentos. El conductor del bus, muy responsable. Si tiene opciones de ir días entre semana y no domingo o día feriado, mucho mejor, ya que el trafico fue pesado y muy concurrido por personas, pero igual disfrutamos mucho, todo es muy, pero muy bonito. Recomiendo el tour de la Agencia Viaja Medellin.
