Experiencia fantástica: Stayed here last week and it was fantastic. Super peaceful and the staff are all incredibly welcoming and helpful. We stayed in a dorm room for 5 but there was no one else staying in our room so we had it to ourselves. We booked our trips through them (they have an extensive list), and they were both fantastic (though you definitely need to know at least basic Spanish because they're not always English speaking guides). One of the trips included an overnight stay and they didn't charge us for accommodation that night even though our bags were locked in the room. Breakfast is included and they even gave us a packup breakfast when we left early on the last day. Would absolutely recommend staying here and it's great value for money! Thank you so much for making our Amazon experience so memorable

Se duerme con el sonido de la lluvia y la selva Las camas tienen mosquiteros No hay agua caliente Esta sobre un camino asf altado lejos del centro de Leticia pero con buen trasporte púbico y varias actividades cerca para realizar: caminata por la selva y aprendizaje de artesanías Ellos coordinan tour de navegación por el Amazonas , visita a la isla de los Micos comunidades nativas y Puerto Nariño La encargada Adelaida es muy simpática y atenta y cocina muy rico Tiene desayuno incluido y, a pedido, servicio de restaurante

We will tell our friends and family and recommend Omshanty for anyone travelling to the Amazon We loved the jungle trek and staying with Gladys. Cristoban was full of so many stories and fascinating traditions. Adriana was a *wonderful* translator and made the trip even more memorable with her stories about being a scientist and what she's learned about the Amazon. Staying in the tree house was just WOW. And the canopy experience was very exciting (and a little scary ). Travelling along the Amazon river, hiking, and seeing the sunset on the lake was incredible. Overall, a 10/10 experience. Experiencia fantástica: We booked the 3D Amazon tour with Omshanty Jungle lodge and would highly recommend it if you are looking for a quick/short trip to the jungle. The communication was very good and the staff were friendly. Everything was well organised and all of the food was local, fresh and delicious. We had an amazing time learning about indigenous traditions, native wildlife and plant species. We would love to return someday and do a different tour. The price was fair for the tour and competitive compared to other tour operators we found. I would recommend paying in cash (COP) as there was a fee for credit card payments, low WiFi signal for online payments and bank transfer was too complex from my UK account. Thanks Omshanty!

Experiencia fantástica: Recomiendo 100% éste hermoso y rústico Lodge a todos aquellos amantes de la naturaleza!..y que buscan una real conexión consigo mismos y con su entorno..tienen muy buenas camas, baño privado, ventilador.. Experiencia negativa: Die Lodge wäre sehr schön gewesen, aber wir hatten eine Hütte direkt neben einer riesigen Hühnerfarm. Die Hühner waren laut, man konnte die schönen Geräusche des Waldes nicht hören. Die Farm wird die ganze Nacht von Scheinwerfern beleuchtet. Und leider stinken Hühner auch fürchterlich, vor allem wenn es regnet und die Sonne drauf scheint. Außerdem hat der Besitzer der Hühnerfarm ab 7 Uhr morgens lautstark Musik gehört. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, die Matratzen und moskitonetzte sollten jedoch gewechselt werden. Die Küche ist leider nicht gut ausgestattet und auch hier muss der insektenschutz gewechselt werden! Das Frühstück war gut. Wirklich schade, die Lage ist ein Traum.

Experiencia positiva: Drewniane domki położone w rozległym ogrodzie. Bardzo czyste i schludne. Dostępny internet, chociaż jakości dość marnej. Ale w innych obiektach nie ma go wcale. Personel bardzo słaby. O wszystko trzeba się było upominać. Jedno śniadanie było przepyszne, jednego wcale nie dostaliśmy, tylko samą kawę, trzecie bardzo marne - chrupki z mlekiem i rozwodniony sok. Na nasze uwagi - ironiczne i głupawe komentarze.

Die Hütten haben aber alles was man benötigt - vor allem gute Mosquitonetze :) Frühstück war immer sehr lecker und gesund - viel frisches Obst! Generell das Essen war dort sehr lecker Die Betreiber sind super nett und haben alles für uns organisiert man kann viele Touren in den Dschungel, Amazonas, etc. über die Betreiber machen 10/10

Experiencia fantástica: Elegí Omshanty para hospedarme durante una semana, porque buscaba un lugar integrado en la naturaleza. Desde un primer momento Kike y su personal nos atendió con amabilidad y ofreciéndonos todas la información posible. Hicimos un primer recorrido por el entorno y la primera noche ya pudimos observar fauna nocturna. La comida que ofrecen en su restaurante está muy rica y siempre preparada con productos locales. La cabaña está muy bien y pude descansar cómodamente. Desde luego no me arrepiento de la elección y sin duda volvería a repetir.

Experiencia fantástica: We spent a week at Enrique's place Om shanti. They were super helpful organized tours for us. They lent us rubber boots for walking in the jungle. The folks and staff are super friendly,it's a real jungle experience. There is a bus straight to Leticia it's 15 minutes and super regular and cheap. I was so happy to stay there and I would go back if I went to Leticia. The mosquito nets are new and well positioned so as not to get bitten at night. One of the highlights was the tour to see Abuelo Gustavo, he explained to us about traditional Amazonian medicine rapé and mambe. There are also small shops and bars in front to get coffee, beer and papas

Experiencia fantástica: Our stay in the spacious lodges of Omshanty was really nice. Surrounded by beautiful flora it's the perfect place to relax in a hammock for a few days. There are two places to swim close by. They have a kitchen, but with no groceriesstore nearby we chose to eat at the restaurant at the front of the resort. If you look for more adventure; they offer jungletour aswell for reasonable prices (up to 7 days!) Due to lack of time we 'only' did a one-day-tour. Because you're 11 km's away from Leticia itself the jungle is close by. The guide had a lot of knowledge. The owner Kike and his staff are really friendly and do their best to make the best of your stay.

Experiencia positiva: I took with my family a tour with Omshanty. They did not give all what they promised. That ruined completely the experience. They provided the cheapest and most uncomfortable hammocks to visit the indigenous community. Stay away from Omshanty

Experiencia fantástica: Excelente sitio para hospedarse y pasar unos días conectado con la naturaleza del Amazonas. La ubicación es un privilegio ya que está muy cerca de la selva para comenzar rutas desde el mismo lugar. Realizamos un trekking de 3h hasta llegar a la maloca del abuelo Gustavo, quién nos enseñó la cultura centenaria de su tribu. Las cabañas están bien, con mosquitera y muy cómodas las camas. Cuenta con restaurante con amplia variedad de comidas y una cocina para preparar tu propia comida. Recomendable 100%

Experiencia fantástica: Un buen lugar para relajarse rodeado de naturaleza. Es una excelente experiencia poder dormir escuchando los ruidos del Amazonas. La atención ha sido estupenda logrando que nuestra estancia fuera muy agradable. Además, realizamos una caminata nocturna para ver algunos animales por la noche. La cena y el desayuno fueron muy abundantes y muy ricos!

Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely loved my stay here. I stayed here for one night and did a multi night guided tour through the rainforest organized by Kiki and his wife (the owners). I am a female solo traveler and he and his wife did everything possible to make me feel safe and have me enjoy my time. I can’t say enough great things about my time here. Thank you for everything. I would very highly recommend for any female solo travelers looking for a one on one tour through the rainforest.

Experiencia fantástica: Muy buena atención, muy bonito el lugar.

Experiencia negativa: Está muy descuidado. Las tablas del piso estaban apunto de caerse , era peligroso eso. No me brindaron jabón ni toallas al momento de solicitarlo a la esposa del dueño se desentendió. En la cabaña donde nos quedamos estaba plagada de zancudos , aparte el mosquitero que me dejaron olía a guardado de hace años y eso me generó una alergia brutal. La persona que nos recibió , muy atenta se llama Luisa . Me quedé en un hotel del mismo valor la noche en puerto Nariño en medio del bosque y no tuve esos inconvenientes

Experiencia fantástica: A lovely accomodation 11km away from Leticia. The wooden huts are very beautiful, clean and spacious. Feels like sleeping in the middle of the jungle (which is kind of true) as you will hear many birds, geckos and other animals during the whole time. The staff (incl. the Omshanty dogs ;-) ) is very nice, the restaurant is great and Enrique, the owner always helps to organize some Amazonas tours for you. OMSHANTY is located out of the city which is no problem as a public bus drives to Leticia every 30min and costs only 3.000 COP/person.

Experiencia fantástica: The best place to stay in Leticia: you're sleeping inside a botanical garden, but with all the commodities of the town. And it's only 20 min drive from the city with a public bus. Walking distance to the site you'll find 3 natural parks with zip lines and canoe tours, bakery, few bars, basic shops and two open swimming pools( 10K COP entrance), the road is very nice to cycle too. There's fast Internet, kitchen free to use, cabañas are very spacey and have enough privacy not to hear the neighbours, a restaurant on a site with very affordable prices. And the owner is very nice and helpful too. Highly recommended!

Experiencia fantástica: Wunderschön direkt im Dschungel gelegene großzügige Hütten mit Pfaden durch blühende üppige Natur. Sehr gutes Restaurant und extrem günstig. 11 km entfernt von Leticia, aber die Fahrt "in die Stadt" ist immer spannend, da man an indigenen Siedlungen, Schulen und viel Natur vorbeifährt. Ein TukTuk kostet keine fünf Euro nach Leticia. Für ein perfektes Naturerlebnis in Amazonien!

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing little Jungle resort!! The owner Kike is the best! He has many activity packages to choose from! At the beginning, prices may seem a bit high, but after trying to replicate these programs on our own for cheaper, my friend and I ended up paying more. Take advantage of a pre-packaged, tour-guide provided, and safe experience! Lodges are clean and big! Food is delicious and cheap! Lodge is 11km away from Leticia. A bus to the city comes every 20 mins and stops right in front of the lodge (2.5k COP) - very practical and cheap! Thank you so much for this amazing Jungle experience! 5-stars for this perfect experience!

Experiencia fantástica: La mejor relación calidad precio para alojamientos fuera de la ciudad, es decir, en plena selva. Muy cómodo y abundante fauna, especialmente aves, insectos y reptiles. Los sonidos por la noche hacen que duermas como en un cuento.

Experiencia fantástica: A group of 6 of us had an amazing time at Omshanty! Kiki is wonderful- accommodating, and helpful. He booked tours, taxis, and activities for us which was great because the lodge is a 30 min drive from town. It was amazing staying in the jungle with all the sounds of the bugs and wildlife at night. It's not luxury but it's pretty clean. And the food was not the best (but very well priced)- we went for the experience and could not have asked for more with this accommodation and hospitality. Highly recommend!

Tienen hermosas cabañas de madera completamente rodeadas de naturaleza, en la noche si hay un cielo estrellado es impactante pero si llueve es mágico! Experiencia fantástica: Un lugar muy tranquilo, en plena naturaleza, ideal para desconectar. Muy limpias y amplias las cabañas, con baño completo. También tiene muchas actividades que hacer, como una caminata nocturna que hice en la que se ven muchos animales, muy recomendable.

Experiencia fantástica: Tiene lo más importante: naturaleza. Además sus exuberantes jardines están llenos de fauna (muchísimas aves) e increíbles flores. Totalmente recomendado para amantes de la naturaleza que quieran vivir la selva alejados de la ciudad (tiene buena comunicación con buses a Leticia cada 20 min)

Experiencia fantástica: Atención excelente, la logística fue increíble todo acordé al plan. El lugar es muy acogedor y con las comodidades básicas.

Experiencia positiva: Es un lugar ambientado para el entorno selvático,rústico y con las comodidades simples necesarias;queda al frente de la vía que te puede llevar a Leticia en bus 2.500 cop max 6 pm,también las mototaxis te pueden llevar a cualquier hora de Leticia hasta allá de regreso. Queda al ladito de la reserva Taninboca donde puedes encontrar buenas cenas y juegos extremos. Queda cerca al río Tacana que es delicioso nada en él. Los desayunos y jugos son muy buenos. Los toures recomiendo comprarlos en Leticia en algunas de las agencias puesto que son mas baratos. El lugar para dormir es bueno y ecónomico.

Experiencia fantástica: Un lugar muy diferente a lo que estas acostumbrado, un hotel muy ecologico que te ensela a convivir en armonia con la naturaleza, aprender sobre la inmensa naturaleza que nos rodea, llegar desde Leticia de forma economica se puede realizar a traves del bus que te deja en frente de el hotel el pasaje cuesta aproximadamente $2500 (cop) y el recorrido es de aproximadamente 20 minutos. Por otro lado la atención es muy buena y en realidad no quieres irte de un lugar asi si eres amante de la naturaleza.

Experiencia fantástica: Maybe the best place to stay in the Colombian Amazonas. You are literally inside the Amazon forest. There is no internet, but you have both water and electricity, so you can survive very well. You can have access to the internet thanks to a school at 20 metres. To go there just take a bus for km11 from the Parque Orellana, the Omshanty is on the last stop. The bus takes less than 30 minutes and it's cheap (2000 cop if I'm not mistaken). You can even rent a bicycle in the Omshanti for 10000 cop per day.
